Finally, Part 2 of 3 :)
Our day in Boston. Thanks to Jess for some great pictures!
The girls were most excited to see the Make Way for Ducklings statues in the Public Garden. They could have played there for a while.
We met up with our friend Jess who lives about an hour away and it was fun that he could come and meet us! It was so nice to see him and great to have such a good tour guide. He also got us discounted passes to the New England Aquarium so that was a nice break from walking around in the windy and slightly cold weather.
Glad they could both fit!
For Matt and Elsa...a restaurant in the North End
We went to this park before dinner (across the water from the USS Constitution) and Sonja fell asleep on the way. Then we walked back to the North End for dinner (Italian food in the North End, yes please!). She slept through the entire dinner! It was actually pretty great and less chaotic :) Gwen enjoyed some time without her little sister, loved being one of the adults and devoured her delicious dinner as you can see in the picture below :) One of my favorite moments was afterwards when we were walking back to the car and Sonja, who was now awake, looks up at me and says "Mom, we never had dinner!"
