january 2010

Alright, to get us updated more quickly I'll just do one bigger post with a bunch of pictures from January...here we go!

Sonja enjoying her new bike from Christmas. Can you tell she likes it? And check out those two top teeth...love them!

Well this technically isn't January but its pretty close...New Years Eve. We had a few people over last minute and had a great time! Gwen looks so old to me in this picture.

Bathtime!

These next few pictures are from Matt and Beth's wedding at Portage Lake Bible Camp in Manistee, MI. Just Gwen and I went and we had a great time. The weather could not have been more perfect for a winter wedding, gorgeous fresh snow and sunny. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and impressive considering they were only engaged for a few months! Way to go guys and congratulations!

Playing on the lake

Okay this is Gwen pointing out that Beth had just walked in. She LOVES weddings. Unfortunately, I didn't really get any pictures of Matt and Beth. Oops!

Playing around at home. Sonja loves dressing up and running around, although she is sort of dressed "down" in this picture :)

Gwen got this cardboard house from Mor Mor and Grandpa for Christmas and has really loved decorating it and playing with her little bunnies in it.

And January also brought little Ellie Bassett into the world. What a sweetie! We are so excited for Jed and Anne and are glad they have joined us on the adventure which is parenting :)

Okay, these pictures are random but Sonja had a little accident at my parents house and I didn't have any extra clothes with for her. My mom had the brilliant idea to see if some of the old amish clothes she had hanging in the bathroom for decoration would fit her. Well this little number did. We got a good laugh.

Well that's what I've got for January. It doesn't seem all that exciting because it wasn't really :) A lot of time spent at my parents to get out of the house and late nights working on our upstairs and the house. More to come on that once things really get settled in!
