I always seem to be a little late with Sonja's "month" posts but oh well!
She is now technically 10 1/2 months old. Her and Gwen are so fun to watch together, laughing and giggling but we can also see the beginnings of the "annoying little sister" as Sonja now likes to grab things from Gwen. It's always funny to her Gwen saying "ugghh, Sonja!" Sonja loves to crawl around and follow Gwen wherever she goes, she's gotten pretty quick. She is also pretty quick at finding the toilet and splashing in it, yikes! We're getting better at keeping the door shut. She's always up on her feet (holding on to things still of course) and I have a feeling that she'll be walking before her first birthday but we'll see. She gives high fives, waves and loves to scream and imitate what we say. You should hear her when she really gets going! She also loves eating anything and everything with her fingers and also likes trying to use a spoon, although most of the time her fingers just end up full of food. She weighs in at just a couple ounces short of 20 lbs (Gwen wasn't even 20 pounds when she was 1!) and I forget how long she was but she was around 80th percentile.
We just love our little Sonja Begonia!
