Well, we had a great trip to Cabo. I couldn't pick just a few pictures so here is a long recap of the trip :) We had so much fun and I really hope that we can go back there someday. It was a great place to go for all ages, beautiful scenery and perfect weather. THANK YOU Matt and Julie!!!
We stayed in a villa with our own pool. Gwen was in the pool with her clothes on within 20 minutes of getting there!

Our villa

Our villa was part of a group of resorts and there was a shuttle every half hour that would take us down to a resort near us called Sunset Beach. There were golf carts there that would take you all over to the different pools and restaurants. Gwen LOVED riding around in them, as you can see.
The "kid pool." Gwen loved swimming here, it was up to her chest and it was so nice that she could have some independence in the water. We have spent so little time in pools so she really had a chance to get more comfortable and confident. She also liked meeting other kids and pushing Sonja and Mckenna around in the ladybug. By the end of the week she was even putting her face in the water and holding her breath...a big step for her.
Loving life, as usual.
The little beach babes, Sonja and Mckenna. They wouldn't really sit still at this particular moment.
There was a long row of these rocking chairs (probably 20 of them) that Gwen loved to sit in.
Fun with Daddy in the pool at our villa.
When we were in Florida in March, Gwen would not go near this ring in or out of the water. I was glad she was enjoying it now!
Sitting by the pool.
Gwen definitely enjoyed playing around and in the fountain in our entryway. I'm guessing they usually don't see many footballs floating around in there.
Cam went fishing with his brother and his Dad. They caught a Mahi Mahi that we got to grill for dinner, yum!
The view from our bedroom.
Mckenna!
We got to go out for dinner with Matt and Julie (Thanks for watching the girls Craig and Karen!) and found a restaurant with an amazing view of El Arco, a rock formation that Cabo is well known for. You can't really see it that well in the picture unless you know what you are looking for, but you'll see some closer pictures coming up.
We went to another one of the resorts connected with ours and went on a glass bottom boat tour of the area. We got to hang out at the pool at the resort too.
On the boat. Can you imagine a day at this beach? Yes, please. If I were to ever come back here when the kids are older or without the kids, I would definitely hop off the boat and hang out here. There are no piers or anything, you just have to jump off the water taxi in shallow water nearby shore and hope all your stuff doesn't get wet. We obviously just stayed on our boat :)
The "Window to the Pacific." We were on the Sea of Cortez and just on the other side of that little hole in the rock, is the Pacific Ocean.
El Arco. I think it looks like a moose taking a drink in a stream. Do you see it?
Sea lions.
Gwen loves her Aunt Julie!
The girls in the Baby Bjorns.
Gwen got to pick out one souvenir. She picked a purse. I guess I wasn't too surprised.
This picture was pretty boring but I just had to laugh when I noticed Sonja.
More rocking chair pictures, a little bright but still cute.
I love how they are both falling over.
More swimming.
Napping.
They had flamingos on the resort property and we took a few golf cart rides just to see them.
These next pictures were taken from the second floor of our place looking down at the pool.
The view from the second floor balcony.
Love her!
Love them!
Bath time!
"Here Sonja, look at you can have this cup"
"Here Sonja, look at you can have this cup"
"Just kidding!"
I think this picture is hilarious. We were taking pictures with a self-timer to get all of us together and while someone was grabbing something, Gwen decided to press the button and go sit down for a picture. I just love how she is sitting there smiling in all the chaos. So funny!
Saying goodbye to the cactus. Gwen would "hug" this cactus every time we would go out somewhere. Don' t quite know how that got started.
Last splash in the fountain.
Grandma and Grandpa with the little ones.
An attempt. Gwen was not too excited about taking a picture.
I guess you can say we had a good time!

Oh man, you guys are so cool...it looks like such a fun trip! What a great place that you stayed at. It doesn't surprise me that sweet Gwen hugged that cactus every day...she's so funny!
Oh wow. Totally beautiful. I love the one of the whole Johnson clan, total Christmas card for Craig and Karen.
Fun to keep up with your family via blogland. What a neat trip and so many precious memories. Happy Summer!
There are so many pictures that just made me smile and laugh. I don't think you can get any more blessed than those girls. You're not a bad sister and brother-in-law either :)
