I have been a definite slacker on the blog-front but I'll try to catch you up!
A few weeks ago, Cam's grandpa, Dick Dorsey passed away. He was such a great man who had an influence on so many people in his life and community as a coach, teacher, principal, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, neighbor and husband. It is always so amazing to me the things you learn about people after they are gone and how you wish you had known them while they were living! I will always have great memories of his friendly, warm nature and his laugh. He was in hospice care for a short time and we were so fortunate to have a chance to visit him just a few days before he died. He had the chance to meet Sonja and see Gwen and we were so thankful for the chance to say goodbye. God had a plan with that one!
It was under these unfortunate circumstances that we were able to meet our niece, Mckenna. We were originally not going to be able to see her until Christmas, so we were glad for the chance to see her sooner. She was born the day after Sonja and I look forward to seeing what sort of fun and trouble these two get into. If they are anything like their dads there will be plenty of stories to tell. We had fun trying to take pictures of them and Gwen got in on the fun too. Of course it was pretty hard to get a really good one, especially all three cousins.
I love that they are both just screaming...
An attempt at a family picture, Gwen was done with the picture-taking.
Gwen and "cousin Mckenna"
Grandpa and his little girls...
I like Sonja's face in this one, she doesn't look too thrilled.
The brothers, their babies, grandpa and grandma and great grandma.
