Jellystone 2008

When I was growing up, we used to go to Jellystone Campground (yes, Yogi Bear) in WI on a "Dads and kids" camping trip every Labor Day Weekend with my dad, siblings, uncle, cousins and various others over the years. We always had a great time but it had been a long time since Cam and I were able to go (probably 8 or 9 years!). We decided to get a big group together this year including the moms this time, especially since some (or I guess just me) of the kids are now moms. Anyway, our camera ran out of batteries pretty early on so I didn't get many pictures but I did get some. My sister got a lot of good ones so check in on her blog over the next couple days.

Gwen with a caterpillar, one of many over the weekend.

Playing in the dirt

I don't know if you can tell, but Gwen's face and shirt were really dirty. They got even dirtier a few minutes later when she started rubbing the dirt all over her face. Gotta love camping and getting dirty right before you go swimming!

How cute is this!
