Can we say nesting? With school starting in a couple weeks and the birth of #2 approaching quickly, I have been inspired to get some stuff done around here! I could post about the organizing of the closet, baby clothes and office, but thats a lot less pretty :)
I wanted a lightweight robe to have at the hospital and at home after the baby is born and I'm always up for a clothing project to improve my sewing skills. Thanks to a great pattern in this book, beautiful fabric from here and some great friends who took Gwen off to the zoo for the morning, I was able to complete another item on my list. I'm proud to say, I didn't call my mom once while I made this...a first for me! Now I just can't wait to wear it and meet that little baby!

You make me sick...in a good way :)
Wow! I am impressed with your skillz!
Heather Bailey rocks my world. So does Amy Butler. So do you. Glad you could get in some sewing time!
Seriously! My sewing machine is collecting dust and wow...I am just so impressed. Maybe you should bring your machine over next time and teach me a few tricks.
Will you make me one? Way too cute!
