Naomi's First Haircut

How's this for a quick post?  Naomi got her first haircut this afternoon.
It was time to get some help with that shaggy hair and I love the results, so cute and grown up!

She posed like this.  She's becoming goofier and goofier like her sisters!

Look at that sweet little face! :)

November!

So forget trying to catch up!  Here are some pictures of what we've been up to in November.

Gwen won a coloring contest and we got to ride on the Jewel float in Wilmette's holiday parade.  It was a lot of fun.

Then later that same day, we went downtown to the Holiday Parade on Michigan Avenue.  This is the first year that we took the train and the girls had fun!  Although we didn't get a great spot to watch this year so we were pretty sore from lifting the girls to see :)

We had a perfect afternoon, warm weather, leaves to play in and no plans for the afternoon!

Gwen took a little "series" of Sonja, here are a few.

"Give the camera back please...."

This one's for you Greta and Elsa.  Remember making these houses in the leaves?  Gwen and I had a lot of fun making one this year!

Not so happy about the leaves being thrown at her :)

Eating a black marker...yum!

Playing at the park and drinking hot chocolate!

Playing together at playgroup.  Naomi does this big cheesy smile now whenever she sees the camera :)

First and Last Days of School...'11-'12

So it seems silly to be posting these so late, but it is still fun to see the difference between the first and last days of school.   Also, I love the pictures of the girls together  :)

Gwen is 6!

Gwen turned 6 in May!
I am embarrassingly behind in posting this but I couldn't just leave it out!
Gwen just gets more and more fun to have around :)  She is smart, goofy (in a quiet way), creative, an amazing big sister, helpful, curious, inventive, and has a great sense of humor.
She loves to ride her bike, play with friends, play outside, help with Naomi and gardening, eat (she's our adventurous eater), cook, listen to music and sing, play soccer and read.  She is really becoming a great reader and that is so fun to watch.
We love our 6 year old!

Gwen wanted to take a couple friends to the American Girl Doll Store and have tea for her birthday.  We decided to go to the store and then head to the Drake for tea and the girls LOVED it.  I felt so honored to be taking these three girls on a little birthday date.

I couldn't resist sharing this idea that Gwen had for Cam's birthday...Pin the Tail on the Musky!  She thought of it, drew the musky, cut out tails and led the game at his birthday dinner.  Such a thoughtful and creative girl :)

Another sweet thing she did :)

And I didn't think this post would be complete without sharing a few of her latest "self-portraits!"
